The league will feature a 30 game schedule for baseball and a 25 game schedule for softball, both complete with a playoff and all-star gala event. With multiple teams in both baseball and softball present here in the Florida Gulf Coast League, scheduling will include day and night games while playing games in baseball parks such as Pirate City (Pirates), Twin Lakes (Orioles), Ed Smith Complex (Orioles), Braves Complex (Braves), Baseball City (St. Pete) and the softball at complexes such as Lakewood Ranch Complex, Miss Sarasota, Palma Sola Park, Madeira Beach and others like State College of Florida. The league will be made up of collegiate athletes from all over the United States, covering all divisions and conferences of collegiate baseball and softball.
